| Dr
Bojan O. Boskovic is a Principal Engineer – Carbon Scientist
at Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems in Coventry, UK. He is also a Visiting
Scientist at Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University
of Cambridge and a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University. His biography
is published in Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering and
he is a board member of British Composites Society.
Dr Boskovic received Dipl.-Ing degree in Engineering Physics from University
of Belgrade, and PhD degree from University of Surrey in the UK. During
PhD studies he invented carbon nanotube synthesis method at room and low
temperatures in plasma. After his PhD he joined Morgan Crucible PLC where
he invented a method for in situ synthesis of carbon nanotubes within
fibrous matrices such as carbon, ceramic or glass fibre cloth. At the
University of Cambridge he further improved this method and developed
carbon nanotube – carbon fibre epoxy composite materials for aerospace
applications. He is now leading carbon nanotube C-C composite research
and development at Meggitt.
