Nanomechanics 2005 Speaker Presentations Are Now Available!

The Nanomechanics: Sensors and Actuators Conference offers an exciting opportunity for the development of highly sensitive physical, chemical and biological sensors and devices. Recent advances in micro and nano fabrication techniques, surface chemistry, microfluidic allow us to mass-manufacture the sensors on silicon wafers and other materials in a cost-effective and modular fashion. These research efforts can pave the way to significant advances in science and technology of sensors and devices that will help to address worldwide security threats.

Through investigation, we have established two needs. One need is to provide a forum to educate our fellow engineers in nanotechnology. The second need is to provide a forum for researchers and industrial partners to share information. We propose to fulfill these needs by developing a conference that brings practicing researchers as well as interested researchers together for sharing and updating on recent progress on nanomechanical sensor research.
