ADVANCING SKILLS FOR LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES

For leaders to be successful, they need a vision, a purpose, and a set of skills to execute their plan and meet their objectives.

ASME has a vision: to be the premiere organization for promoting the art, science, and practice of mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences to our diverse communities throughout the world.

To be successful in meeting the needs of humanity, ASME leaders need to enhance their skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. The Leadership Training Conference (LTC) provides you with a set of transferable competencies. Through practical, interactive workshops you will gain tools, techniques, and processes to take back with you - for ASME and for your company - and in so doing, improve the lives of people all around you.

LTC offers you the opportunity not only to learn more about ASME but also to enhance your ability to communicate, manage projects, budget, and plan strategically. In advancing your leadership capabilities, you improve your effectiveness as a volunteer for ASME as well as in your professional and personal lives.

We need to accept the challenges that ASME presents and be prepared to develop the expertise required to meet those challenges. At this year’s LTC you will be able to do just that.
