Introducing the ASME Itinerary Planner!


ASME is proud to announce the introduction of the New ASME Itinerary Planner, which is now available on the IDETC/CIE 2012 Website and which will allow attendees to plan and build their personalized schedule for the conference.

When accessing your Itinerary Planner via your mobile device, standard data rates may apply. Please check with your provider about your data plan. If you are traveling internationally, please contact your provider about any international roaming data limits that may apply. Please check the event Website for information about whether Wi-Fi will be available to attendees at the conference venue.

The ASME 2012 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences (IDETC) and Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE) will take place during August 12-15, 2012 in Chicago, IL The conference is the flagship international meeting for Design Engineering and includes the following conferences:



Technical papers describing research results are solicited for the 2012 IDETC & CIE which will also include plenary sessions, keynote lectures, and tutorials on topics related to engineering design and computers in engineering. These conferences provide a unique forum for the sharing of recent research results as well as networking with friends and colleagues. Industry participation is particularly encouraged so that the conferences may provide opportunities for fruitful exchanges between the research and industrial communities.
