The ASME 2010 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences (IDETC) and Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE) will take place during August 15-18, 2010 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montréal. The conference is the flagship international meeting for Design Engineering and includes the following conferences:

• 34th Annual Mechanisms and Robotics Conference (MR)
• 30th Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE)
• 22nd International Conference on Design Theory and Methodology (DTM)
• 15th Design for Manufacturing and the Lifecycle Conference (DFMLC)
• 12th International Conference on Advanced Vehicle and Tire Technologies (AVTT)
• 7th Symposium on International Design and Design Education (DEC)
• 4th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems (MNS)
• Special Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise (VIB)

Technical papers describing research results are solicited for the 2010 IDETC & CIE which will also include plenary sessions, keynote lectures, and tutorials on topics related to engineering design and computers in engineering. These conferences provide a unique forum for the sharing of recent research results as well as networking with friends and colleagues. Industry participation is particularly encouraged so that the conferences may provide opportunities for fruitful exchanges between the research and industrial communities.

The 2010 Conference will take place in the beautiful city of Montréal at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Montréal near McGill University and École de Technologie Supérieure. Because this year's Conference is in Canada attendees need to be aware of passport and visa requirements and need to plan accordingly.
