| Description
Process Modeling and Simulation is being increasingly called upon in order
to efficiently reduce costs and increase throughput. This seminar will
describe several different types of process simulation and how each can
be used to effectively find and evaluate improvement alternatives. The
sessions include both presentations and hands-on training using several
of the commonly used simulation software packages.
Spreadsheet models, flowsheet simulators, finite capacity scheduling and
discrete event simulation will be covered at an introductory level. Participants
are encouraged to bring a laptop computer.
