Amgen's Facilities in Juncos: Meeting Patient Needs

30 miles southeast of San Juan, Amgen–Juncos houses state-of-the-art biotechnology center for bulk manufacturing. The site includes manufacturing plants for key biologics, full testing quality analytical laboratories, a new syringe line facility, high-speed packaging capability, warehouses and administration buildings.

Amgen-Juncos campus has 16 buildings, 1.2 million square feet of facilities, and 225,000 liters of fermentation capacity. Several biotherapeutics are processed in Juncos including Epogen, Neulasta, Neupogen, Aranesp, and Enbrel.
