Aerospace Engineer, Engineering Manager
Randal Allen is an engineering/project manager in the
aerospace/software industries. He is certified by Franklin-Covey to facilitate
the “Focus and Execution” track for leadership development
and is also a certified customer support manager through service strategies.
Allen is currently an aerospace consultant with Lone Star Aerospace
in Plano, Texas, and serves as an adjunct professor at the University
of Central Florida. Previously, he was engineering manager for field
sales/support and a project manager for on-line support for Wind River
Systems in Alameda, California. Allen was also an applications engineer
for Integrated Systems in Santa Clara, California. He worked with Lockheed-Martin
in Sunnyvale, California in flight operations for west coast Titan-IV
missions and orbit control for Motorola’s iridium satellite constellation.
Allen has a B.S. in engineering physics and an M.S. in applied mathematics
from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an engineer’s
degree in aeronautical/astronautical engineering from Stanford University.
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Central Florida.
