Charla K. Wise has served in the capacity of Vice President with Lockheed Martin
for over 10 years, with more than 25 years in the aerospace and manufacturing
industry. She has led major programs, major functional departments and held corporate
positions, including:

Director - F-22 Program, LM Aero, Fort Worth
- Vice President - Engineering,
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
- Vice President and Deputy, Company Operations,
LM Aeronautics
- Program Director, F-16 United States Air Force Programs,
LM Aeronautics
She is a recognized leader at the national level for Aerospace and technical
associations and is immediate Past-Chair of the Aerospace Industries
Association Technical Operations Council and Vice Chair for the ASME
Industry Advisory Board. She has received numerous awards recognizing
her leadership abilities including: 2006 recipient of the ASME Henry
Laurence Gantt Medal; University of Michigan Alumni of the Year for Aerospace
Engineering in 2004; Great Women of Texas in 2003; and received Women
in Aerospace’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. She is an SAE
Fellow, Associate Fellow for the AIAA, and Adjunct Professor for the
University of Michigan.
Charla is actively involved in mentoring and diversity programs, both
internal and external to the company. She holds leadership positions
in community volunteer programs, most recently serving as Chair of the
Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth. She received
her degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University
of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She is married and has 3 children.
