International visitors who plan to attend WINVR 09 should check with their local consulate regarding visa requirements and entry regulations for France. Please do this well in advance of the conference.
If you require a letter of invitation for WINVR 09 as part of a visa application, you must submit a written request to ASME EMEA Office by email or fax no later than 30 November 2008.
In order for the visa letter to be issued, the visa applicant must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a Member of ASME or AFM with membership fees paid in full. Please include your membership number with your request
- Be scheduled to make a presentation as part of the official conference proceedings. Please include your paper number or the name of the session you will be presenting with your request.
- Have already paid your conference registration fee. Please include your registration confirmation number with your request.
- Be a representative of an official exhibiting company. Please include the name of the company with your request.
To help us prepare your letter, please complete and return the following Visa Information Letter form.
If you have been asked to provide specific information in the visa letter,
which is not included on this form, please advise ASME EMEA Office with
the return of the Visa Information Letter.
