Welcome to Copenhagen

“The Danish capital of Copenhagen is number two of 127 cities on the list of Europe's best cities for business travellers." – (Source: Visit Denmark)

It is easy to get from place to place in Copenhagen:

  • Copenhagen is the largest metropolitan area in Scandinavia and it has the fastest and cheapest airport-to-city-center rail link of any European capital - the journey just takes 12 minutes.
  • Copenhagen is a compact city and everything is close at hand. Most hotels, restaurants, sights and shops are within walking distance.

Copenhagen offers a variety of activities for visitors:

  • The Michelin Guide has confirmed that Copenhagen is the number one food-lover's destination in Scandinavia.
  • Copenhagen has the longest pedestrian street in Europe, known as Strøget.
  • Copenhagen has 2,000 free bicycles for visitors: The 'City Bikes'.
  • The Øresund region - which encompasses Denmark and Southern Sweden - offers 50,000 unique sights, all within 90 minutes' reach. Top attractions include: the Little Mermaid Statue, Tivoli Gardens, Carlsberg Brewery, Rosenborg Castle, the Marble Church and the Round Tower Observatory.

ASME Turbo Expo 2012 in Copenhagen will be an unforgettable experience! Make plans now to attend!
