Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Limited
BHTCL designs, certifies, produces, delivers, and supports the commercial models of Bell Helicopter. The Mirabel facility houses over 2000 workers in a 650,000 + Sq Ft building. BHTCL is currently working on 7 different models from the light 206B Jet Ranger, 206 Long Ranger, and 407, the light twin engine 427 VFR and the new 429 IFR Global Ranger, the intermediate 430 and the medium 412.
The tour will take visitors through the structural assembly lines, the final assembly area, the pre-flight hangar and the paint shop.

The Aerospace Division manufactures, commercializes and supports the well-known line of CRJ Regional Jets, the Q-Series Regional Turboprop Airliners, and three families of Business Jets.
The tour will consist of a visit of the Challenger Assembly Line (Challenger 300, 605, and 850 business jets), situated at the Pierre Trudeau International Airport in Dorval. The tour will include the pre-flight and delivery areas.

National Research Council Canada - Friday, May 18, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The NRC Institute for Aerospace Research (NRC Aerospace) conducts R&D in matters affecting the design, manufacture, performance, use, and safety of aerospace vehicles. Its unique facilities and expertise in Ottawa assist industry in developing the next generation of fuels, engines and combustion devices through research on combustion processes, liquid spray systems and emissions. Studies are also conducted on propulsion systems and on materials to improve overall and component performance.
A tour of the company's Gas Turbine & Structures, Materials Performance Laboratories and Propulsion Icing Tunnel will be offered. In addition, a tour of the CF18 fuselage full-scale structural test will also be provided.
Location: Institute for Aerospace Research, National Research Council Canada, in Ottawa - Canada's capitol.
Transportation: There will be two buses available that will leave the Palais des Congres at 8.30 a.m. Return time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The tour includes a two-hour drive each way along the St Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers and through scenic farming country.

Pratt & Whitney Canada - Friday, May 18, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Pratt & Whitney Canada has produced more than 60,000 small engines which power corporate jets, regional aircraft and helicopters around the globe. For delegates to Turbo Expo 2007, Pratt & Whitney Canada is offering a tour of its Longueuil facility. Engine models included on the tour are the PT6, PW200 and the PW150. Points of interest along the tour will include the String Gage Lab, Assembly & Test, Experimental, Gaz Generator & Diffuser, Test Cell, Blue Edge Inspection, MPI (Magnetic Penetrant Inspection), Complex Shaft, and Measuring Centre.
Location: Pratt & Whitney Canada, Longueuil/Montreal South Shore.
Transportation: There will be one bus available that will leave the Palais des Congres at 1:00 p.m. Return time is scheduled for approximately 3:00 p.m.

Rolls-Royce Canada - Friday, May 18, 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Rolls-Royce Canada will offer a tour of the Industrial Trent Test Bed located at the Atwater Facility on Friday, May 18. The Trent Facility serves the dual purpose of being an experimental test bed for Rolls-Royce Canada as well as being an emergency power plant for the City of Montreal and Hydro-Quebec. This will be a full tour of the facility covering the control room, test cell, plant room, fuel room and rig shop.
Location: Atwater Test Facility, Montreal
Transportation: There will be a bus available that will leave the Palais des Congres at 9:30 a.m. (groups 1 & 2) and at 1:30 p.m. (groups 3 & 4). Total time of the tour including traveling will be approximately 3 hours.
Registration: Space is limited to 48 participants (4 groups). Registration for this tour will be available at the Quebec Pavilion located in the exhibit hall, booth number 906. You must register for the tour by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15. Pre-screening by the host may be done.
