Why should I stay at the Conference headquarter hotel?
Negotiated hotel rates incorporate many benefits for you. In order to secure meeting room space at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, conference management must sign a contract with the hotel that guarantees a specified number of hotel rooms will be booked by conference attendees. If attendees choose to stay in other hotels, the conference faces the possibility that the room block will not be met, thus resulting in financial penalties and increased costs for the attendee.

When you factor in cab fees and the time associated with travel to alternate hotels, you may not benefit as much financially as you had planned. By staying at the Hyatt, you gain the opportunity to further network with your industry peers and remain in the center of the activity surrounding the conference.
