Reliable Pumps and Piping Systems for Power Plants

Description
This new, one day ASME course, will cover the fundamentals of steam turbine design, performance along with some operation and maintenance and performance. Although steam turbine design theory will be presented, the course will be very practical in nature, geared to individuals without prior knowledge or experience of steam turbines and their auxiliaries. The course is perfect for new turbine engineers and experienced steam turbine engineers who would like a refresher. Department level managers who have overall responsibility for the Steam Turbine will also benefit. The course is open to all who need a good understanding of steam turbines.


Key features of the course will include:


  • Steam Turbine components and configurations.
  • Steam Flow path and how the steam turbine works
  • Steam turbine performance
  • Operation and Maintenance


The course participants will receive course notes. Questions on individual steam turbine problems are encouraged.
