Join us in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2007 ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping/CREEP8 Conference! More than 150 paper and panel sessions are planned, as well as tutorials, the NDE and Software Demonstration Forums, and the Student Paper Competition. The PVP Conference is a great place to present your ideas and to meet colleagues as we work to create and advance PVP technologies for the Power and Process Industries. PVP-2007 will be held jointly with The Eighth International Conference on Creep and Fatigue at Elevated Temperature - CREEP8. The ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division will sponsor this Joint Conference with participation by the ASME NDE Division.


This CALL FOR PAPERS provides guidance for submitting abstracts for proposed technical papers for the 2007 ASME PVPD Conference based on general topics. Specific Calls for Papers are available from the Technical Committees at the ASME PVPD conference web site at http://www.asmeconferences.org/PVP07/. The conference roster is available on this web site including contact information for the Technical Committee Program Representatives. All accepted papers will be published via CD-ROM/DVD.


GENERAL TOPICS: (1) Codes & Standards; (2) Computer Technology; (3) Design & Analysis; (4) Fluid-Structure Interaction; (5) High Pressure Technology; (6) Materials & Fabrication; (7) Operations, Applications, & Components; (8) Seismic Engineering; (9) Nondestructive Examination, (10) Creep and Fatigue at Elevated Temperatures, and (11) Student Paper Competition.


SCHEDULE: PVP abstracts are due by December 4, 2006. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by January 8, 2007. Draft papers are due by February 19, 2007. Paper peer review comments will be returned by March 26, 2007. Final papers in ASME format for publication must be received by April 16, 2007. All accepted papers will be published via CD-ROM/DVD.
