Georgia Institute of Technology
Georgia Tech is one of the world leaders in nanoscience and nanotechnology research and design. More than one hundred faculty members at Tech are already involved in nanoscience and nanotechnology research projects. http://www.nano.gatech.edu/

Georgia Tech's Nanotechnology Research Center is expected to open its doors in 2008. The 160,000-square-foot Center will be the most advanced nanotechnology facility in the Southeast and will be one of the most sophisticated in the United States. The Center will feature 30,000 square feet of clean rooms critical to research and instruction in microelectronics, semi-conductors, materials, medicine, and pharmaceuticals, offering access to nanotechnology tools to researchers from other Georgia universities as well as industry partners. http://www.development.gatech.edu/projects/CLN/

The Center for Nanostructure Characterization and Fabrication in the School of Materials Science and Engineering is a multi-user facility. Its mission is to provide the state-of-the-art tools for performing advanced research on a variety of nanoscale materials. http://cncf.nanoscience.gatech.edu/

Laserwort was founded in 1988 by three well-know and professional men. Their previous experiences a total of 50 years of semiconductor related service, technical advice and sales to the rapidly growing Far East IC industry.

Our business philosophy is based on
- Total commitment to our principal manufacturers, and
- High standard of professional service and support to our customers.
Laserwort Limited is a member of the Group of Morison Heng. We are presently representing major US, UK, France and Japan semi-conductors and MEMS related companies, including STS, AML,DNS,BTI, EKC, OAI, SCUBES, SCT, Angstrom, Modutek, Primaxx, Xactix, Pelchem, BIC, Annealsys, R2D, CETR etc. We have three offices located in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. Hong Kong is our head office. We are not a buy and sell trading company. We are an engineering company having thirteen well-experienced service engineers. We setup a company in Shanghai for repairing ENI RF generators in 2002. We have a lot of spare parts, stored in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

New Development
Focusing on our strength and expertise is in high speed and high aspect ratio dry etching for 2" to 8" wafer, we establish Laserwort Semiconductor Manufacturing (Beijing) Company Ltd in 2008. The setup is to provide specialist foundry service as Induced Coupled Plasma (ICP) Etching on R&D scale for worldwide customers.

To provide additional value for customers who may be interested in outsourcing 4" MEMS fabrication, we partner with Beijing Time Min Xin Company to take up R&D or small batch production projects or jobs may involve single or multiple processes in MEMS wafer fabrication.
