MSEC 2011 Poster Presentation Opportunities

The ASME 2011 International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC) is now accepting poster contributions. Poster presentations are great opportunities to timely show off your recent findings and to discuss your research in a less formal setting with much thorough interactions.

Interested authors may please visit the Call for Posters pages for detail information.

The Manufacturing Engineering Division (MED) of ASME is pleased to sponsor the 6th ASME 2011 International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC). The conference will be hosted by Oregon State University from June 13-17, 2011, in Corvallis, Oregon, USA.

In addition, the 6th MSEC this year will be jointly sponsored and collocated with the 4th JSME/ASME International Conference on Materials and Processing (ICM&P). The joint meetings are fully integrated with all symposia represented in each conference. Moreover, this collaborative event will be collocated with the 39th North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC).

This conference will highlight cutting edge manufacturing research in technical paper, poster, and panel sessions. The deadline for paper submissions is December 1, 2010. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit an abstract and full manuscript by December 24, 2010. We look forward to seeing you in Corvallis.

The conference will be accepting submissions to the following tracks and symposia:

The official language of the conference is English.

New ASME Copyright Process
ASME is implementing a new electronic process for copyright submission effective immediately. This new process gives each author the ability to sign his or her copyright form electronically instead of filling out and sending the paper form to ASME.

For more detailed information, please go to ASME Copyright Guidelines to familiarize yourself with this new process.

Attention MSEC2011 Authors
A presenter must be identified for each presentation. The presenter of each paper will be required to pay the author registration by March 21, 2011. If the presenter does not register the paper will be removed from the conference proceedings and information on the paper will be removed from the conference website and on-site printed program.

For more information about this requirement please visit the Mandatory Presenter Registration page.
