A presenter must be identified for each presentation. The presenter of each paper will be required to pay the author registration by July 25, 2007. If the presenter does not register the paper will be removed from the conference proceedings and information on the paper will be removed from the conference website and on-site printed program. The Manufacturing Engineering Division (MED) of the ASME is pleased to sponsor the 2007 International Manufacturing Science & Engineering Conference (MSEC). The conference will be hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology from October 15-18, 2007 in Atlanta, GA. This will be the second annual MSEC and we are excited to have strong participation from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers' Materials and Processing Division.

This conference will highlight cutting edge manufacturing research in both technical paper and panel sessions. The deadline for paper submissions is March 30, 2007. Prospective authors are encouraged to file a Statement of Intent to submit a paper by February 2, 2007. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta.
