The Regional Organization Committee is working with Tai-shan Travel in Tainan for the post-conference tours of MNHT08. It is most important that you reserve the tour of your interest when you return the Service Request Form to ncku.trc@gmail.com, since all tours will require a minimum number of participants. Please check the status of the post-conference tours at the registration desk when you check in at the conference. For questions, please contact Dr. CC Hwang at ncku.trc@gmail.com.
All tours will end at TPE (Taoyuan International Airport). For participants who need to depart Taiwan from KHH (Kaohsiung International Airport), Tiroko will take them to Taipei or Taoyuan Station of Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) at the end of all tours. The participants can return to Tayih-Tainan, or directly to Zuoying and then take taxi to Kaohsiung International Airport for departure. For conversion, $1~ TWD$32.5. fOR less than USD$46 (standard class), you can travel between any two points on HSR in less than 2 hours.

Cost: $250 per person, doubles in Sunworld Dynasty – Taipei. Singles for $60 extra.

Departure: Afternoon 01/09/2008, 13:51 (or 15:24) HSR 214 from Tainan to Taipei. Touring coach and English-speaking guide will be waiting at HSR-Taipei for the group.

All employees at HSR (all High Speed Rail stations), TPE (Taoyuan International Airport), and KHH (Kaohsiung International Airport) speak fluent English. All announcements made on HSR, including names of the arriving stations, will include English. For other transportations by taxi, please bring the “Destination Cards” with you and show the Chinese Section in correspondence to the taxi drivers for the places you want to go.
