This forum will address the ever increasing challenges we face in our industry and the need to retain and transfer knowledge to the next generation of projects and people.


The forum will focus on new methods and technologies, best practices, lessons learned and the latest regulatory requirements and will feature opportunities to meet industry leaders, exchange ideas, and network.


The forum is ideally suited to Oil/Gas company executives, managers, engineers, and contractors.


Topics to be covered in the sessions of this forum will include:


  • Flowlines
  • Export Pipelines
  • Integrity, Maintenance and Repair
  • Regulatory / API / ISO Panel Sessions
  • Risers
  • Installation
  • Operations


Submit your abstract by August 1, 2008. Authors will be notified by mid August.


Please contact ASME staff at 281 493-3491 for questions and submission information. Submission information will also be posted on www.asme-ipti.org once established.


Once an abstract is formally accepted we will ask the participating authors to prepare a paper to be reviewed for publication in the conference proceedings. Draft papers to be submitted by mid September; final papers will be due mid October.


Selected papers will be further reviewed for publication in an ASME Journal.
