Objectives and Content
The objectives of this short International Graduate Workshop is to exchange research experience among junior and senior researchers, and to have a brief overview of some recent developments in the field of tribology and green and bio-tribology. Participants need not be performing research directly in this area. Each participant will give a short presentation to introduce his research subject and discuss the key points and difficulties encountered or forecasted. With growing environmental concerns, green tribology and bio-derived lubricants is becoming a very important and fast growing topic. In addition, bio-tribology will always be important topic as the average age of the population continues to increase and our joints need to perform for longer periods of time. Fruitful discussions are expected.
