Objectives and content
The objectives of this short International Graduate Workshop is to exchange research experience among junior and senior researchers, and to have a brief overview of some recent developments in the field of tribology and wind energy. Participants need not be performing research directly in this area. Each participant will give a short presentation to introduce his research subject and discuss the key points and difficulties encountered or forecasted. Since wind energy relies on many tribology issues such as gears, bearings, lubrication, condition monitoring and maintenance and is currently a large and growing industry, participants may be surprised to find that their research may relate to it at a fundamental level. Fruitful discussions are expected.
