ASME's inaugural Advanced IDETC/CIE 2014Design & Manufacturing Impact Forum, collocated with, focuses on the intersection of advanced design and advanced manufacturing in industrial and consumer applications.

The four-day event will highlight the opportunities and potential of the latest advanced manufacturing solutions available today. Participate in leading edge conversations on emerging technologies, applications, and solutions required to compete in the global advanced manufacturing marketplace. Plan to join us at the ASME Career Fair during the Advanced Design & Manufacturing Impact Forum. The Fair will be held on Wednesday, August 20th on the Expo floor of the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.



The ASME 2014 International Design and Engineering Technical Conferences & Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2014) will take place during August 17–20, 2014 in Buffalo, NY. This event is the flagship international meeting for Design Engineering and its affiliated conferences listed below. This year IDETC/CIE 2014 will also collocate with the ASME 2014 Advanced Design & Manufacturing Impact Forum.



Technical papers describing research results are solicited for the 2014 IDETC/CIE which will also include plenary sessions, keynote lectures, and tutorials on topics related to engineering design and computers in engineering. These conferences provide a unique forum for the sharing of recent research results as well as networking with friends and colleagues. Industry participation is particularly encouraged so that the conferences may provide opportunities for fruitful exchanges between the research and industrial communities.
