Student Support and Awarding
Only students-presenters from Track 14 with accepted papers are
eligible for this support.
ASME, JSME, CNS and European Student Track Leaders will select "qualified
students" from their respective groups. The names and paper titles
will be provided to Dr. Igor Pioro, Chair of Track 14
and the ASME Student Program Director by March 1, 2009.
REGISTRATION
All students who have been accepted into Track 14 and have been notified
accordingly must register for the conference by May 1, 2009.
If you do not register by this date, your paper will be pulled from the
conference proceedings and you will NOT be eligible for any reimbursement.
To register, please go to http://www.regmaster.com/conf/icone17.html
and download a pdf registration form. Fill out the form completely. Check
the appropriate registration category (ie student member or student non-member).
Fax the form to 1-407-366-4138. If you are planning on attending any workshops,
banquet, tours etc… you must pay for those activities and therefore
provide credit card information. Your registration is complimentary, but
you will be charged for the above mentioned activities accordingly.
HOTEL
The funding will cover hotel sleeping rooms up to 600 Euro, (i.e., 50%
of a room price) per person (Reimbursement will be paid based on a hotel
receipt after the conference).
- Students are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
If you are interested in sharing a room with another student, please
coordinate the arrangements directly with the other interested student(s).
- We have set up a community on the "ASME Peerlink" website.
Go to http://peerlink.asme.org.
Once you have registered for the site, you need to join the ICONE17
Student Housing Community. This site will also provide you with
direct links to the hotel website where you can reserve a sleeping
room.
- If a student misses a technical tour, there will not be a hotel reimbursement
for this day.
TRAVEL EXPENSES
