ARRIVAL BY AIRPLANE:
Darmstadt is situated about 30 km from Frankfurt airport. There is direct shuttle service from the airport to Darmstadt central station by the "Air-Liner" bus. It takes about 25 minutes.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN:
Darmstadt central station ("Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof") is a stop for suburban railways ("S-Bahn") as well as for intercity express ("ICE") high-speed trains.
Arriving at the platform you have to take the stairs, turn left and you arrive at the tram and bus stops. Here you can take the bus K (direction TU-Lichtwiese), H (direction Alfred-Messel-Weg) as well as the tram 3 (direction Lichtenbergschule) and get off at the stop "Schloss".
Continue to the crossroad, you will see the Congress center Darmstadtium on your left hand side at ~100m.

Note:
The buses or trams leave every 7 minutes and needs 10 minutes to Darmstadt City.
ARRIVAL BY CAR:
Get off the highway A5 (Frankfurt/M, - Heidelberg/Basel) or A 67 (Köln/Wiesbaden - Mannheim) at the exit "Darmstadt Stadtmitte". The congress center Darmstadtium is in the center of Darmstadt in close proximity to the residence palace ("Residenzschloss").
Coming from the highway you take the direction Darmstadt Stadtmitte straight ahead to the "Rhein-straße". You will come to a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, turn left following the inner ring road ("Cityring"). At the next traffic light turn left onto the "Kirchstraße" (it's still the inner ring road). Follow Kirchstrasse to the next traffic light and then turn to the right immediately after this traffic light onto Alexanderstraße. There you will find the parking entrance of the darmstadtium on the right side.
