The technical tour is scheduled on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 and will be hosted by Dresser Waukesha, a business unit of Dresser, Inc. The tour will include the Waukesha® engine manufacturing, assembly and production test facilities located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Buses will depart the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and return before noon.
Founded in 1906 as the Waukesha Motor Company, Dresser Waukesha is today an international manufacturer of spark- ignited, gaseous fueled engines widely used in power generation, field gas compression and other mechanical drive applications ranging in output from 100 to 4800 bhp (75 - 3250 kWe).
