Technical Tours

Tours of DUAP AG and ABB Turbo Systems AG
The technical tours are scheduled on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 and will visit both DUAP AG and ABB Turbo Systems AG. The tours will start by departing the hotel at 8:00 a.m. to DUAP in Herzogenbuchsee, Switzerland. DUAP is sponsoring lunch at their facility. The tour will continue from DUAP to ABB located in Baden, Switzerland and the return back to the hotel will be around 5:30 p.m.


DUAP
DUAP is a manufacturer of fuel injection equipment for all power ranges of MDO, HFO, Gas, Dual Fuel and Biomass engines, covering a wide scope of applications including Marine, Traction, Stationary, Automotive, and Aeronautical.


The tour will visit the DUAP manufacturing facility which includes machining, heat treat, assembly and test. You will be seeing machining centers that feature machines which can hold small tolerances up to 0.001 mm. Additional information about DUAP can be found at http://www.duap.ch.
