Author/Presenter Information

If you are making an ORAL PRESENTATION (KEYNOTE & PLENARY presenters will be contacted separately):
Please be sure to bring your presentation material on a USB memory stick and/or CD-ROM. We will have a laptop (PC) for you to load your presentation on to. Oral presenters should plan on giving a 12-minute talk and allow 3 minutes for Q&A. ASME has created an FTP site as a back-up for you to download your presentation. Please note that the FTP site is for back-up purposes only and it is expected that all authors have their presentation material with them on their scheduled presentation day. If you use the ftp option be sure to clearly LABEL your file with your name and abstract number.

If you are making a POSTER PRESENTATION:
Bring your poster as a single poster or multiple sheets. We will provide a board that is approximately 3' x 5' as well as push pins and an easel. Poster set up is on Monday, June 18th at 1:30 pm. Poster viewings begin on Monday, June 18th at 3:00 pm (coffee break/poster session) and again from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm during our evening reception. Posters will remain up through Wednesday afternoon, June 20th so that attendees may view them throughout the conference. All posters should be removed by 3:30 pm on Wednesday, June 20th.


On Sunday evening, June 17th, there will be an informal lite reception at PolyTechnic University, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Polytechnic is located within a block of the Marriott.

The ASME registration desk will also be open during the reception at Rogers Hall/PolyTechnic University. Please stop by to pick up your badge and meet some of your fellow colleagues and attendees!


The ASME registration desk will re-open on Monday, June 18th at 8:00 am AT the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge. All sessions will be held at the Marriott.
