SEMINAR: REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES FOR CFD ANALYSIS OF ADVANCED GAS-COOLED REACTORS

Time & Room: 8 AM to 6 PM; Chopin Ballroom

Topical Discussions:

  1. The thermal-hydraulic analysis needs for the Very High Temperature Reactor (VHTR).
  2. The status of ongoing DOE programs that address the development and validation of thermal-hydraulic analyses.
  3. Status of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tool development & verification.
  4. Practices and procedures to be used to validate CFD tools.
  5. Standard problems to be used to validate capabilities for the VHTR.
