Cooperating Societies
Members of cooperating societies may register for the Congress at the ASME member rate.
**Life Member, Retired, Participating Members are defined as Life Members who are Retired, but who are participating in the Conference as an Author, a Co-Author, a Presenter, a Panelist, a Session/Symposium Developer, a Session/Symposium Co-Developer, a Session/Symposium Chair, a Session/Symposium Vice-Chair, etc. Registration under this category includes a CD-ROM of the Conference Papers.

Substitutions/Cancellations:
Cancellations made through June 30 will receive a full refund, less a $125 administration fee. Student cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative charge. Refunds are not available beginning July 1.
ASME Travel Policy:
ASME is not responsible for the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets or the cancellation/change fees associated with canceling a flight. ASME retains the right to cancel a course/conference up until 3 weeks of the scheduled presentation date.
ASME No-Show Policy: The compilation presented in the CD-ROM version of the proceedings is not the archival version of the Proceedings. Paper information contained therein should not be used for citation purposes. According to ASME's No-Show policy, if a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will not be published in the official Archival Proceedings, which are registered with the Library of Congress, and are abstracted and indexed. The paper also will not be published in the ASME Digital Library, and may not be cited as a published paper.
