Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27, 2014
At this competition, ASME and IDA student members will demonstrate their engineering skills during the Student Design Competition (June 26) and the Young Engineers Solution (YES) workshop (June 27). The Design Competition will focus on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
The YES workshop will use the on-site robot simulation based on LEGO Mindstorms and Exterior, a virtual automation platform for 3D visualization. The winners will win cash prizes and opportunities to travel to Montreal, Canada, in November 2014 to compete in the finals against other students from around the world.
Join fellow industrials, academics, and ASME/IDA/IDA engineering members the world over as they convene at ESDA2014 and participate in a vitalized technical program. Technical Sessions, workshops, and peer-reviewed papers and presentations support the central themes of Advanced Manufacturing and Energy.
