Obtaining a Visa

Letter of Invitation
All international visitors should check with his or her local consulate regarding visa and entry regulations for Turkey, where the ASME ESDA2010 Conference will be held. Visitors should do this well in advance of the conference.

If a letter of invitation is required as part of a visa application, a written request must be submitted to ESDA2010 via email: esda2010@yeditepe.edu.tr.

One of the following qualifications must be met for a letter to be issued:

• You are a dues-paying member of ASME and your dues are paid in full. (Please include your membership number in your request).
  


• You are a participant in an official conference session, i.e., an organizer, chair, co-chair, author, panelist, presenter, speaker. (Please include your paper number or the name of the session in which you will be participating).
  


• You have paid the conference registration fee. (Please include your confirmation number in your request).
  


• You are a representative of an official exhibiting company. (Please include the exhibiting company name and booth number)

To expedite the preparation of a letter, please complete and return this form: Information Required for Invitation Letter. Letters of invitation are addressed to the individual who wishes to attend the event.
