The 2015 Dynamic Systems and Control (DSC) Conference will be held Wednesday through Friday, October 28-30, at the Hilton Columbus Downtown Hotel in Columbus, Ohio. On behalf of the 2015 DSCC Operating Committee and the Dynamic Systems and Control Division (DSCD) of ASME International, we cordially invite you to enjoy an exciting technical program and a unique opportunity to network in the eclectic urban hub of Columbus, Ohio.

A brand new hotel that opened in October 2012, Hilton Columbus Downtown is situated in the heart of the city, just steps from Columbus’ favorite attractions. Only a few blocks away, the Short North Arts District features unique boutiques, fascinating galleries and intimate dining options. Artsy, fashionable and beautifully unique, reflecting the spirit and energy of the area, the hotel is within walking distance to over 300 dining and entertainment venues. The hotel features a stunning art collection that comprises over 150 original pieces by Central Ohio artists.

The DSC Conference is the showcase technical forum of the ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Division. It provides a focused and intimate setting for dissemination and discussion of the state of the art in dynamic systems and control research, with a mechanical engineering focus. The 2015 DSC Conference Technical Program will consist of sessions in all of the usual areas of interest to the Division. In addition, the conference will feature specific technical tracks that uniquely identify this particular DSCC. The location of the conference, in the heart of the Manufacturing and Automotive industries, makes these two areas especially appropriate for special tracks. Other special tracks will include Interplay between Biology/Ecology/Life Sciences and Engineering, and Information Technology in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The program will include contributed sessions, invited sessions, tutorial sessions, special sessions, workshops and exhibits.

Online access to conference papers will be given to all registered attendees at the start of the conference. This compilation is not the official proceedings of the conference and cannot be used for citation purposes. Following the event, all papers not presented at the conference are removed from this compilation, and the official proceedings of the conference is published in the ASME Digital Collection. Papers from all ASME conferences are submitted to all major indexers including EI Compendex, Scopus, and the ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index. Indexing publishers are independent organizations, and ASME has no control over the indexing schedule. .

DSCC 2015 Submission and Registration Policies

  • All papers submitted to the DSCC 2015 for review must be prepared in the standard 2-column Proceedings format. See the Author Center at the conference web site for MS-Word and LaTeX style files. • One regular registration fee at the advance registration rates must be paid by one of the authors before uploading the final version of the paper for inclusion in the conference.
  • All accepted papers must be presented at the conference. Papers which are not presented (no-shows) will be removed from the official conference proceedings and will not be indexed through the ASME Digital Collection.
