Best Paper Award, bestowed by the Process Industries Division of ASME, recognizes outstanding contribution by an individual or a group of researchers, for notable contribution(s) to the field of Turbomachinery or Compressor Technologies. Achievements that embrace ingenuity and ultimately help foster a more safe, comfortable, and sustainable world are especially welcomed. The prize is awarded for a technical paper published by ASME. The award will be presented at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE).

Selection Process	The nominations are open to all qualified papers. The paper must have been published or accepted for publication in the year that it will be considered. The authors or the nominators must submit an electronic copy of the paper to the chair of the PID compressor Technology sub-committee by August 18 of the year in which it will be considered.
Funding Availability	The award may not be given if there are no suitable nominees or if funds are not available.
