Field Museum Exhibit Tour: Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs
9:30am-12:30pm
(Bus will depart at 9:30am at the 8th Street door exit of the hotel - South end of the lobby)

An extraordinary new exhibit that contains 50 major artifacts excavated from King Tut's tomb, including his royal diadem (crown) and one of the gold and inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his mummified internal organs. The exhibition will draw visitors back in time with innovative technology. Includes audio tour of the exhibit and additional time to explore the Field Museum; home of the worlds largest T-Rex, a dinosaur named Sue.

The city with something for everybody - historically, culturally, commercially and architecturally… Spend a day enjoying some of the highlights of this great city and see many of the ethnic neighborhoods that built Chicago. Driving highlights will include: The Loop, Lakefront, Millennium Park, Near North Side, Near West Side, South Side and a visit to the Sears Tower (103rd floor sky deck).

History & Architecture of Oak Park Tour/River Forest

Travel through Oak Park and River Forest viewing outstanding 19th century architecture including Frank Lloyd Wright's first private commission. Tour the landmark Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio; admiring the design experiment of which Wright continually perfected in his own home. The recent total restoration reveals the depth of Wright's talent and extraordinary principles of his work. Finally, visit the Hemingway home and museum complex that traces the life and career of the great American novelist.
