Roger E. De Filippo, MD
Presentation Title: Amniotic Fluid Stem Cells: A novel modality in Cell Therapy for Acute and Chronic Renal Failure
Dr. Roger De Filippo is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, and an Attending Surgeon at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Before joining the faculty at the Keck School of Medicine, he completed both a research and clinical fellowship in Tissue Engineering and Pediatric Urology at the Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. He oversees the Laboratory for Organ Regenerative Research and Cell Therapeutics in Urology at the Saban Research Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He and his colleagues are actively pursuing research in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine along with cell therapeutic modalities for the treatment of acute and chronic Kidney disease.

Chester Koh
Presentation Title: Bladder Tissue Engineering Derived from Stem Cells
Dr. Chester Koh is a pediatric urologist at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and an assistant professor of Urology at the USC Keck School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at USC, and his pediatric urology fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School. He currently serves as the Director of the Robotic Surgery Program at CHLA, as well as a principal investigator in the Developmental Biology, Regenerative Medicine, and Surgery Program in the Saban Research Institute at CHLA.

Laura Perin
Presentation Title: Kidney Progenitor Cells Isolated Form Amniotic Fluid
Dr Laura Perin is an Assistant Professor at Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. Before joining the faculty at USC she was a research fellow at Harvard School of Medicine School, Boston, MA and a postdoctoral fellow at Children hospital of Los Angeles. She is a recipient of many awards including the Stem Cell Training Grant issued from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine.s

David Warburton
Presentation Title: Stem/Progenitor Cell Therapies for Lung Disease
David Warburton OBE, DSC, MD, FRCP, FRCS directs the Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine Program at the Saban Research Institute, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, USC Keck School of Medicine and School of Dentistry. He directs 12 faculty and over 50 staff who are working on regenerative solutions for lung, kidney, gut, liver, pancreas and limb.
